AR Glasses
Role: Graphic Designer
Other Roles: Industrial Designer, Marketing Specialist, Engineers
This was a project that resulted from a year-long multidisciplinary course that allowed students from multiple majors including; Engineering, Marketing, Graphic & Industrial Design, to work alongside a corporate partner in order to discover company pain points and offer a solution in specific regards to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The first semester was largely focused on identifying individual pain points and doing in-depth research before entering the second semester which utilized all previous research to prototype, mock-up, and offer a solution to our corporate partner utilizing those pain point(s) as an area of opportunity.
The product my cohort and I worked on and presented was a pair of AR glasses that could encourage DEI initiatives in a warehouse setting. By having a multidisciplinary cohort, we were able to work with each other and have discussions from various points of view, which allowed for comprehensive discussions through the prototyping phase to ultimately create two products at the end: an idealized digitized version, and a functional working model.
